volando entre libros: ¡ENTREVISTA!

Hoy les traiga la primera entrevista a Jennifer L. Armentrout autora de la saga lux, Covenat y otras series. Yo (Deybelys), participe en esta entrevista y tuve la suerte al igual que los demás de que respondiera 4 de mis preguntas. La entrevista estará en ingles y español espero que la disfruten!

- Who inspired you to create characters like Aiden/Alex, Daemon/Kitten, Cameron/Avery, Kyler/Sydney and Hunter/Serena?

JLA: My inspiration for my characters really depends on the book that I’m writing. I do find that some of my characters tend to be snarky and sarcastic, and I think that’s a reflection on my own personality.

- ¿Quién te inspiró para crear personajes como Aiden/Alex, Daemon/Kitten, Cameron/Avery, Kyler/Sydney y Hunter/Serena?

JLA: Mi inspiración para mis personajes realmente depende del libro que estoy escribiendo. Yo encuentro que algunos de mis personajes tienden a ser sarcásticos y creo que eso es un reflejo de mi propia personalidad.

-Jennifer: Will there be an epilogue at the end of Origin to tell us what happened to Kat and Daemon some time later?

JLA: There won’t be an epilogue at the end of Origin because there’s actually a fifth book in the series.

- Jennifer: ¿Habrá un epílogo en al final de Origin que nos diga qué pasó con Kat y Daemon algún tiempo después?

JLA: No habrá un epílogo al final de Origin, porque en realidad hay un quinto libro de la serie.

- Will get a second part Obsession? Of the saga arum.

JLA: No, Obsession is a standalone, so I’m not planning to write any more Arum novels. But, you will see more of the Arum in the Lux series.

- Tendrá una segunda parte Obsession? De la saga Arum.

JLA: No, Obsession es un independiente, así que no estoy planeando escribir más novelas Arum. Pero, verán más de los Arum en la serie Lux.

- Hello Jenn, I am a luxen from Venezuela and I love how you write and I think you are really talented, I'll never get tired of saying it. I hope you keep writing because I'll keep reading.

I have some questions to ask you:

a.- Why did you kill Adam? You broke my heart, I loved Adam.

JLA: I’m not comfortable answering this question as it is too spoilery for those who have not read the series yet.

b.- What inspired you to write a character like Blake? Even if it's a very damaged antagonist.

JLA: I think that Blake is an interesting character with complicated motivations. I think he’s a good addition to the story, and I enjoyed writing him. I especially liked coming up with the various names that Daemon called him.

c.- Will we have a fifth book?

JLA: Yes, there’s a fifth book in the series that is in dual POV, alternating between Daemon and Katy.

d.- Kat and Dee will be friends again?

JLA: That question will be answered in the next books, so I don’t want to give too many details.

- Hola Jenn, soy una Luxen de Venezuela y me encanta tu forma de escribir y creo que eres muy talentosa, nunca me cansaré de decirlo. Espero que sigas escribiendo porque voy a seguir leyendo. Tengo algunas preguntas para ti:

a) ¿Por qué matar a Adam? Me rompiste el corazón, me encantaba Adam.

- JLA: No me siento cómoda respondiendo a esta pregunta, ya que son demasiados spoilers para aquellos que no han leído la serie todavía.

b) ¿Qué te inspiró a escribir un personaje como Blake? Incluso si es un antagonista muy dañado.

JLA: Creo que Blake es un personaje interesante con motivaciones complejas. Creo que es una buena adición a la historia, y me gustó escribirlo. Me gustó especialmente dar con los diversos nombres que Daemon lo llamó.

c) Tendremos un quinto libro?

JLA: Sí, hay un quinto libro de la serie que se encuentra en doble POV, alternando entre Daemon y Katy.

d) Kat y Dee serán amigos de nuevo?

JLA: Esa pregunta será contestada en los próximos libros, por lo que no quiero dar demasiados detalles.

- Why you decided to write Lux?

JLA: I was asked by my editor to write a book about aliens in high school. I wasn’t going to do it because I didn’t think that aliens could be sexy or interesting, but then I started to think about it. I came up with the idea for Katy and Daemon, and I sat down and started writing their story that same night.

- ¿Por qué te desdiste a escribir Lux?

JLA: mi editor me preguntó para escribir un libro acerca de aliens en la escuela secundaria. Yo no iba a hacerlo porque no creía que los extraterrestres podrían ser atractivos o interesantes, pero luego empecé a pensar en ello. Se me ocurrió la idea de Katy y Daemon, y me senté y empecé a escribir su historia esa misma noche.

- What actors you consider appropiate for the role of Daemon and Kat, Pepe and Sztella not participate?

JLA: I’m terrible at choosing actors that I would like to portray Daemon and Katy in the movie. I’m just as excited as my readers to find out who will be Katy and Daemon on the big screen!

- ¿Qué actores consideras apropiados para el papel de Daemon y Kat, Pepe y Sztella no participa?

JLA: Soy terrible en la elección de los actores que me gustaría retratar como Daemon y Katy en la película. Estoy tan emocionada como mis lectores para saber quien será Katy y Daemon en la pantalla grande!
